Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation
Operated by Mehphil Technology Private Limited
Effective Date: 29 August 2026
Sakhi & Me has a zero-tolerance policy towards any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits, or endangers anyone under the age of 18. This is the most serious category of violation on our Platform. It results in immediate and permanent account removal and a report to the appropriate authorities.
Sakhi & Me is an adults-only platform
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Sakhi & Me, whether as a Customer or a Host. Creating a profile that shows or implies that you are under 18 is strictly prohibited. Every user confirms they are an adult before completing registration, every Host completes identity verification before they can receive a Call, and any account found to belong to a person under 18 is removed.
What is prohibited
You must never, under any circumstance:
• share, discuss, request, or reference content that depicts or describes the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor, whether the minor is real or fictional, and regardless of stated intent, including content framed as fiction, art, or awareness-raising;
• use the Platform to groom, solicit, or attempt to arrange contact with a minor for any sexual or exploitative purpose;
• share any image showing a minor unclothed or in a sexualised manner, even if the relevant body parts are obscured by emoji, stickers, or clothing;
• share third-party links that lead to any of the content described above.
If you are sharing a photograph of your own child, or of yourself as a child, it must show the child fully clothed and in an appropriate, non-sexualised context.
For the purposes of these standards, a child is anyone under the age of 18.
How to report
In the app. Every profile carries a report option. Open the profile, choose Report, and select the reason that fits. Reports reach our Safety Team directly. You can also block any user in a single tap.
By email. Write to childsafety@mehphil.com at any time, including if you cannot access the app. Include as much detail as you safely can: the username involved, the date and time, and what happened.
You do not need an account to report a concern to us by email.
What happens after a report
Reports of child sexual abuse or exploitation are treated as the highest priority and reviewed ahead of all other reports. When a report is substantiated we remove the content, permanently terminate the account, preserve the relevant evidence, and report the matter to the appropriate law enforcement and regulatory authorities in India.
We comply with all applicable child safety laws, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it, and we report to regional and national authorities as those laws require.
